Robert & Susan Payne Foundation Scholarship

Fall 2024 and Spring 2025

This scholarship was established by Robert and Susan Payne to support a full time, undergraduate matriculated student who has completed 24 – 45 credits at Western Connecticut State University majoring in Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Chemistry, Biology, Nursing, Social Work, or Secondary Education with a concentration in the STEM majors. The applicants must be eligible for tri-state tuition and fees with a minimum GPA of 2.75 and demonstrate financial need. This scholarship will be for six consecutive semester for $6000.00 per student per year for a total of $18,000. To be considered a finalist, please write a short essay describing yourself, your first year experience at WCSU, and the reason you are pursuing a degree in your selected major.
