Laura Duffy Memorial Scholarship

Fall 2024 and Spring 2025

This scholarship was established in memory of Laura Duffy, a nontraditional social work student who died in 1995 after a long battle with cancer. In conjunction with the department of social work, Duffy’s family established the award to benefit an undergraduate social work major who has demonstrated a longtime commitment to community service and embodies Laura’s warmth and caring. Additional consideration will be given to members of Phi Alpha Social Work honor society.
