Dr. Joseph Cherry Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Fall 2024 and Spring 2025

This scholarship is presented to Greater Danbury area undergraduate nursing students with a minimum 3.1 GPA. The student must have a conscientious commitment to nursing and have a caring and holistic approach to patients and their care. It was established in 1999 by Mrs. Joseph B. Cherry to honor the memory of her husband, Dr. Joseph B. Cherry.

Recipients must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA or AACTUS. If you are not eligible to complete either application, please contact the Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment at wcsufinancialaid@wcsu.edu so that your application may still be considered.
