Irfan Kathwari Foundation Scholarship

Fall 2024 and Spring 2025

This scholarship was established by M. Farooq Kathwari in honor of his son, Irfan Kathwari, to support minority undergraduate students in the teacher education program. Kathwari, the president, chairman and CEO of Ethan Allen Inc., created the award to recruit promising students to Western Connecticut State University’s teacher education program. Preference is given to Danbury minority high school seniors who want to pursue careers teaching K-12 in the Danbury public schools.
