Pay It Forward Scholarship

Fall 2025 and Spring 2026

The scholarship was created with a donation from Patricia & Robert Ivry in order to provide financial aid assistance to undergraduate full time matriculating juniors in Western Connecticut State University’s School of Professional Studies majoring in Social Work. The recipient must have a minimum 2.5 overall GPA with a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA in their social work classes at the start of their fall semester of their junior year. The student must obtain a 3.0 GPA in their social work classes at the end of the fall semester to be eligible for the spring semester’s portion of their scholarship. If the student maintains the 3.0 GPA in their social work classes at the end of their junior year spring semester, then they will be eligible to receive the scholarship in their fall semester of their senior year.
