Steven C. Ward Community Service Award

The Steven C. Ward Community Service Award is awarded each spring to an undergraduate student who has an outstanding record of service to the university/ and or the community. Service includes advocacy and advocacy is especially important in the struggles public higher education faces. WCSU-AAUP has been hard at work fighting for adequate funding in Hartford. This year we would like to invite students to share their stories about how the effects of underfunding have impacted them. The award winner will receive a prize of $750.00.
