Darryl Ohrt Memorial Scholarship

Fall 2025 and Spring 2026

This scholarship was established in 2018 by Western Connecticut State University alumni, William Baker ’86  in memory of Darryl Ohrt ‘85, a Communications & Theatre Arts major who made a profound impact on WCSU campus life and specifically the radio station, WXCI. The recipient must be an undergraduate Communication, Media Arts, or Professional Writing major in good academic standing with junior status (60 credits or more with 30 credits completed at WCSU) and have a minimum GPA of 3.2.
